Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray. ~Rumi

My vision as a practitioner is to support you in the fullness of your uniqueness as a person on all levels.  I aim to support you in healing from pain, discomfort and suffering in order to find joy and wellness.  It is often so difficult in our Western medical culture to feel truly heard and understood in our concerns and as a whole person.  In addition to Acupuncture and related modalities, I fully believe in the healing powers of each person.  I will provide  you tailored home practices such as Qi Gong, guided meditations, lifestyle, and Chinese medicine nutritional suggestions to help in the healing journey.

How Chinese medicine Supports Healing: and Wellbeing

I'm crazy passionate about Daoism and Chinese Medicine paradigm of life and our health  as a microcosm of the nature and the greater universe.  Acupuncture and qigong were key to helping me with a 30 year sacroiliac dysfunction and osteoporosis.

"As below, so above" is the saying.  For example, when we see how cold works in nature we can understand it in ourselves.  I am continually wowed by the ancient wisdom that understands how to work with the body & mind's natural ability to adapt to the complexity of all of who we are in body, mind, and spirit.  It just resonates.

For example, your neck pain.  Yes, you are bent over your computer and devices.  But but but!  Are you also sitting under that annoying office AC unit even in winter?  Well, cold constricts and when it creeps into us, creates pain.  So we need to warm up, wear a scarf in this instance.   Or maybe not do cold plunges o of raw, cold salads. Many menstrual and reproducitve issues are from what we call "cold in the uterus."

The Medicine of Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a medicine built upon 2500 years of collected experience treating patients with the principles of Chinese Medicine. It sees the body as having tremendous powers of healing when it is in balance. Sometimes though, our genetics, our lifestyle, and life events, knock that delicate balance off center.  Acupuncture and Chinese medicine modalities help to support your body's own amazing ability to heal.  When we re-establish balance and the right relationship in our physical, mental and spiritual ways of being, then health and well being can occur.

Our life force is a precious resource to use wisely over the course of our lives (Jarrett, 1999). The trick is to accomplish our endeavors by drawing upon acquired energy from good nutrition, plenty of rest, restorative exercise and low stress.  Our modern world exerts many pressures on us that can dig into the principle instead of living on the interest!  Acupuncture helps regulate the energy which moves us every day, physically, mentally and spiritually.
